Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Brand Management and Promotion

Manage planning, developing, and marketing efforts for the district’s brand, which involves conceptualizing strategic initiatives and implementing details for the brand marketing campaigns Work with the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing to interpret the vision and make it a tangible and deliverable product Manage external and internal marketing partners such as vendors, production companies, printers, copywriters, and internal team members Supervise the brand content and manage access to brand elements. Maintain brand standards and usage, and assist with integrating campaigns with brand consistency Maintain and provide guidance on proper use of the brand throughout all advertising, promotions, internal publications, marketing, social media presence, and any other environment in which the brand appears Participate in and lead brand strategy discussions and collaborate with other district departments to ensure strategic objectives are met and to act as a liaison in the development of communications materials and content creation Interact with copywriters to develop creative concepts and the execution of materials, printed or electronic Attend planning meetings and make presentations to internal and external clients to decide the strategic and creative direction of marketing pieces or campaigns Digital Media Strategy and Engagement

Build and execute a comprehensive digital media strategy through competitive research, platform selection, benchmarking, messaging, and influencer engagement Generate, edit, publish, and share content (text, images, video, HTML) that fosters meaningful engagement with community members and stakeholders Manage district webpages and assist webmasters with marketing content management, including creation and revision of digital resources Stay current on market trends, educational news, and emerging digital marketing practices; apply new techniques and share findings with the team Be proficient in multiple visual programs, including Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere, Quark Xpress, Microsoft Office, iMovie, or other video and audio editing programs Assist in collecting and monitoring data to identify strategies for content creation and evaluation of communications efforts, make recommendations to leaders, and implement approved change Organize and coordinate many tasks under pressure Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or communications with emphasis in Digital Media and brand strategy Minimum of 5 years experience in print and electronic digital media platforms and web content management Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, sales, or strategic communication Minimum of 3 years experience in graphic design (preferred) Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail Demonstrated project management, editing, and computer skills Excellent communication skills both orally and written Ability to work under tight deadlines Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
