Communications Manager

who thrives at the intersection of brand marketing, PR, and community engagement. You will lead Chamelo’s efforts in influencer partnerships, social media strategy, retention marketing, and public relations—ensuring our voice resonates across channels and builds long-term brand love. Your Day-to-Day Will Involve

Develop and execute Chamelo’s influencer strategy, securing partnerships with creators, celebrities, and tastemakers that align with our brand. Own social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms—growing reach, engagement, and community. Manage PR outreach, craft press releases, and secure media coverage across fashion, tech, and lifestyle outlets. Build and manage retention programs (email, SMS, loyalty) to keep our community engaged and drive repeat purchases. Collaborate with the brand team to create compelling storytelling campaigns that connect culture, lifestyle, and technology. Partner cross-functionally with growth, product, and sales teams to align communications with company objectives. Monitor brand sentiment, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform strategy. Build playbooks and reporting frameworks for influencer, PR, and social campaigns. Who You Are

A natural storyteller who knows how to make a brand stand out. Equally comfortable negotiating with influencers as you are pitching media. Strong relationship builder who thrives on partnerships and collaboration. Social media native who is always ahead of the next trend. Creative yet data-driven, always balancing brand storytelling with measurable results. Must-Haves

4+ years of experience in communications, influencer marketing, social media, or PR. Proven track record managing influencer campaigns and securing press coverage. Hands-on experience running brand social channels with measurable growth. Experience with retention tools (Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar) a strong plus. Excellent writing, storytelling, and presentation skills. Familiarity with brand partnerships and co-marketing opportunities. Startup or consumer brand experience is highly advantageous.
