Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Officer, the Social Media & Creative Design Specialist is responsible for developing, creating, and managing engaging content that promotes PFC’s brands, products, and services across multiple platforms. This position combines creative design expertise with strategic marketing skills to support promotional campaigns, events, and ongoing brand visibility initiatives. The Specialist will collaborate with the Marketing Officer and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, brand identity, and impactful creative execution. Responsibilities

Establishes, develops, maintains, and updates filing systems and departmental libraries of marketing materials, trade journals, and other references. Retrieves information as needed. Sorts and distributes mail; drafts written responses or replies by phone or email when necessary. Responds to regularly occurring requests for routine information. Creates various layouts, iconography, campaign designs, website designs, logos, and illustrations according to target marketing specifications. Develops campaign content for digital and print media to promote PFC’s visibility across various marketing outlets; provides support with distribution of promotional materials. Assists with planning and creative direction for product promotions with current brands and new product launches. Provides creative and administrative support for promotional campaigns, events, and other marketing initiatives, including maintaining the promotional calendar. Gathers and analyzes market data, performs market analytics, and creates surveys and polls to identify market patterns and trends. Prepares and reports on market trends, demographics, pricing strategies, and other relevant information to support marketing plan development. Maintains and updates social media accounts and websites for brands, products, or services. Works under the direction of the Marketing Manager to help reach the company’s marketing goals and objectives. Reviews and provides support with responding to solicitation letters. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education & Experience

Education:

Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field preferred. Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social media management, graphic design, or digital marketing. Experience with content creation, including graphics, videos, and written copy. Demonstrated proficiency with marketing analytics tools and social media scheduling platforms. Portfolio review will be required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge:

Graphic design principles, typography, and color theory. Social media platforms, features, and current trends. Branding and brand identity management. Digital marketing strategies, SEO basics, and content marketing. Photography, videography, and editing for marketing purposes. Website content management systems (CMS). Analytics tools for campaign performance tracking. Market research and data analysis techniques. Copyright and intellectual property considerations for creative assets. Google Ads platform, including campaign creation, keyword targeting, bidding strategies, and ad performance optimization. Google Ads compliance policies, ad copywriting best practices, and integration with analytics tool for ROI tracking. Skills

Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.). Strong copywriting and content creation skills. Multimedia production (graphics, videos, animations). Organization and maintenance of marketing calendars and assets. Collaboration with cross-functional teams. Adapting creative work to brand guidelines. Abilities

Think creatively and strategically in alignment with business objectives. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communicate creative ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
