Professional CAD Designer

Job Description PL Associates Inc. (PLA) is actively seeking a CAD Designer with 3-5 years of experience for our Washington, DC projects. Candidates will work on Water and Sewer and Wastewater design, which includes site engineering of roadways, utilities, grading, stormwater management facilities, and sediment and erosion control design. Candidates must have proficiency using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D for this position. Qualifications Proficiency using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. 3-5 years experience in Water design, Sewer, SWM, site engineering, sediment and erosion control. Proficiency in recent versions of AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience in Water, Sewer, SWM, Utility Plan & Profiles, and Minor Roadway design and production. Experience reviewing and interpreting design codes and regulations. Highly motivated self-starter ready to design and draft private, public, and commercial projects with little or no instruction. Strong emphasis on CAD capabilities, speed, and accuracy. Commensurate with civil engineering as well as preparation of data required for roadway, utility, Water, and stormwater design.
