Reporting to the Director Marketing, the Marketing Events Coordinator manages event activities for all CCG brands, with a focus on supporting channel initiatives. The role is responsible for overseeing corporate tradeshows, marketing events, and hospitality events both nationally and locally ensuring each event is executed seamlessly and provides a positive customer experience. Additionally, this individual supports localized field marketing events for representatives, dealers, and distributors, as well as internal staff events and customer visits. The coordinator collaborates with teams across marketing, sales, customer service, and training – as well as external vendors and outsourced talent to align event objectives and streamline processes using digital tools for efficiency. In addition to events, the role also supports other special projects including but not limited to the annual marketing budget and the promotional merchandise website, handling vendor relationships and inventory tracking. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team are essential for success in this position. Essential Functions
Plan, organize, and execute corporate tradeshows, field marketing events, customer visits, and internal staff meetings Implement processes that streamline event planning and execution, focusing on cost-effectiveness and efficiency Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and partners, ensuring reliable support for all event-related needs. Utilize CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics), project management platforms (e.g., Monday), social media, and office software to manage event logistics and communications. Provide event-related support to the sales team, addressing issues promptly and seeking assistance as needed to ensure success. Monitor and manage event contact databases, collaborating with the team for effective post-event follow-up and engagement. Leverage automated solutions to handle event confirmations, promotions, and communications, in partnership with marketing stakeholders. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and venues, ensuring clear and consistent messaging Track event performance, budget management, and process improvements, reporting outcomes and identifying areas for future enhancements. Detail-Oriented and Highly Organized Vendor Management Problem Solving Comfortable in a variety of software tools from CRM to Project Management Strong Communication Skills Proficiency with Digital Tools Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively Process Improvement and Collaboration Negotiation Skills Administrative Skills Event Support Expense Management Customer Service Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relation, or communications preferred Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in role(s) related to event planning, tradeshow support, etc. Computer Skills:
Skilled with MS Office. Experience using CRM platform(s), Social Media platforms such as LinkedIn, and email/content platforms(s) a plus. Certificates & Licenses (Not Required):
Preference given to applicants with 1 or more of these or comparable relevant certifications.
