Email Marketing Manager to drive and advance our email marketing strategy across multiple channels and segments. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, this role is responsible for donor conversion, retention and engagement through compelling, data-informed email campaigns. This role will manage a team of Email Specialists and collaborate with content, design, and data specialists to ensure campaigns are audience-specific, timely, and optimized for performance. As a key player in our integrated digital strategy, the Email Marketing Manager will help steward and grow a high-performing program that supports fundraising, advocacy, and engagement goals across Home Office and U.S. Office channels. Role & Responsibilities
Supervise staff and manage activities including timesheets, time off requests, performance goals, progress check-ins, and staff transitions in our HRIS. Managers are expected to model Christian values, including encouraging prayer, leading devotionals, and fostering a Christian environment in interactions with staff. Develop and implement effective email marketing strategies to nurture, engage, and convert audiences to higher levels of engagement. Lead a team of Email Specialists across marketing channels and provide guidance for other teams using email to drive engagement (e.g., Donors, Leads, Local Offices). Manage and build email campaigns through their lifecycle: planning, targeting, scheduling, testing, execution, and reporting. Collaborate with Content Team and CRM & Data Systems Specialists to provide recommendations and insights based on past campaign results. Partner with the visual design team to optimize email templates and ensure consistent branding. Create and optimize automated email workflows, including onboarding, event/trigger-based emails, and donation appeals. Monitor email deliverability and ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM Act and GDPR. Analyze and report on email campaign performance with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay current with industry trends and best practices, proposing innovative ideas to maximize effectiveness. Collaborate with the digital marketing team to integrate email with other channels for cohesive messaging and results. Maintain lead generation forms and triggers for automation. Job Requirements

5 years of email marketing experience in mass email marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or donation-based organization Experience managing an email marketing team Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field Previous supervisory experience Salary: $73,000 - $80,000 per year World Relief offers a competitive benefits package and employee discount program for full-time and part-time employees.
