Non-Certified Student Support Services/Paraprofessional • Full-time Compensation
Base pay range: $14.25/hr – $14.25/hr. Compensation may be adjusted based on skills and experience. Posting date: August 26, 2025. Posting deadline: Until Filled. Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 6 hours per day. Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Assist the lead teacher in individual and group instruction, chart student programs, and support students health and hygiene as required. Supervise students during recess and lunch, and attend to students in specials classes. Assist with loading and unloading of students on buses. Work with small or individual groups to support or reinforce teacher-prepared lesson plans or activities. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Assist with preparation of materials; clean up after students. Other duties as assigned by the lead teacher or building principal. Grant-funded position. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma required Associates Degree preferred Successful experience working with young children Ability to follow guidance of a lead teacher Basic computer skills Demonstrated initiative, energy, and adaptability Ability to work with students and manage behaviors in various settings (classroom, lunchroom, etc.) Competency in basic academics areas Ability to maintain student confidentiality Knowledge of computers and email Ability to relate effectively with students, staff and parents Ability to manage students in various group sizes Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence Ability to establish and maintain relationships with school officials, principals, teachers and office personnel Qualifications Summary
Demonstrated knowledge of basic academics and ability to implement instructional support under guidance of the lead teacher; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to diverse learning environments. Attachments
