Copywriter / Content Manager
• Department: Marketing • Reports To: Head of Creative Services, Creative Director • Location: Austin, TX • Schedule: 4 days in-office (Monday-Thursday), remote on Fridays • Salary Range: $80-$90K + excellent benefits!
Our client is a leading provider of wealth management platforms for independent financial professionals across the U.S. They are seeking a talented and strategic Content Manager who excels in copywriting (short and long form) and content development. This role is ideal for someone who can craft compelling, informative content while also driving the broader content strategy across multiple channels. You\'ll play a key role in enhancing advisor engagement, supporting lead generation, and positioning the company as a thought leader in financial services. You\'ll collaborate with creative teams, marketing strategists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact content that\'s both visually engaging and strategically aligned with business goals.
This is also a fantastic opportunity for someone who has solely been in a Copywriter role looking to grow into a more strategic position. The hiring manager is very open to a strong mid level player looking to up-level their career.
Key Responsibilities
Write, edit, and proof high-quality content across long- and short-form formats.
Develop a wide range of content including white papers, case studies, email campaigns, video scripts, blogs, social media posts, landing pages, and more.
Lead content strategy development aligned with marketing campaigns and advisor engagement goals.
Build and manage a scalable, multi-line content production process.
Translate complex financial topics into clear, engaging copy.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content meets business, compliance, and brand standards.
Partner with designers and videographers to bring content to life visually.
Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and consistency.
Stay current on financial services trends and identify timely content opportunities.
Qualifications
4-6 years of professional copywriting experience in a creative, marketing, or agency setting.
1-2 years of financial services writing experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to write across formats including white papers, case studies, email, and digital content.
Experience aligning content with lead generation and marketing strategies.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate with creative teams and guide visual storytelling.
Excellent editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working cross-functionally.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience in financial services is required.
A diverse writing portfolio showcasing both short- and long-form content.
