Dignity Health Medical Group - North State is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join our multi-specialty group in Redding, California. The role focuses on patient care and serving the communitys part of a comprehensive cancer program. Responsibilities
Provide medical oncology care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Participate in daily rounds, tumor boards, and related oncology program activities as part of a physician team. Contribute to clinical trials and cancer-related research initiatives as available. Qualifications
Be a medical oncologist with a valid and unrestricted California medical license. Completion of an Oncology Fellowship and Board Eligible/Board Certified are required. Experienced physicians and new grads are invited to apply. Where Youd Work
Dignity Health Mercy Regional Cancer Center is Commission on Cancer Accredited and supported by a dedicated team including RN, MA, scheduler, and oncology nurses. Our cancer program includes infusion services, a range of support services, clinical trials, and a comprehensive survivorship and palliative care program. The organization is expanding with a state-of-the-art Cancer Center opening in 2026. Compensation Highlights
Competitive compensation with a starting figure of $770,000 per year 5-year salary guarantee with wRVU bonus $80,000 sign-on bonus Up to $15,000 relocation reimbursement Group-paid medical and dental insurance Generous 401(k) match (6-11% of earnings) Group-paid malpractice, licensure and renewals Additional benefits as applicable Where Youd Work
