AE, Product Sales

- Nielsen is looking for an Account Executive to focus on a roster of Nielsen's Advertiser, Agency, Digital, and TV media clients. This role drives new business growth and expands sales of Nielsen's audience measurement services through direct client engagement, working with account management and product to demonstrate Nielsen's value. The AE reports to the Manager, Product Sales and supports the US sales efforts for Ad Intel, aligning sales activities with company objectives and product understanding to deliver sustainable growth. Goals

Execute against the sales strategy developed by the Sales Manager and VP Sales across all prospects and clients in the US that align with Nielsen business objectives. Contribute to a results-driven culture with accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor individual sales performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Deliver against New Business sales targets and contribute to their achievement through planning and execution. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry needs to identify opportunities and proactively address threats. Responsibilities

Driving Growth: Actively prospect and acquire new clients to meet and exceed individual quotas. Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base. Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to negotiating and closing contracts. Strategic Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders through virtual and in-person meetings. Represent the company at events as needed. Product Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in direct client pitches. Clearly communicate product benefits and how they address client needs. Account and Territory Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for your territory and client roster. Work with Account Management and other leads to identify opportunities. Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with operations, enablement, marketing, and product teams to drive customer satisfaction. Sales Strategy Development: Assist in developing and implementing client-specific sales strategies. Training & Enablement: Identify gaps in product knowledge and create a training plan. Share best practices with colleagues in client pitches as a team resource. CRM Management: Maintain a detailed and accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce for reporting and forecasting. Meeting Preparation: Prepare for and lead regular internal and external meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). Qualifications

5+ years of experience in new business sales; Bachelor’s degree preferred Understanding of the media and advertising industry and current trends Attention to detail, problem solving, and ability to meet deadlines and respond to clients promptly Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities with diverse internal teams Motivated to prospect, drive sales, and develop new business opportunities Strong presentation and communication skills Strong team player; adaptable in a sales role Travel required for in-person client and team meetings Additional Information
