Work with Practice Leader to declare a primary industry specialization (vertical). May also choose a secondary vertical that is aligned with primary vertical. Retain at least 92% of business year over year with assistance from leadership and account management staff. Meet new business activity and quality appointment goals. Use USI resources to research prospects and develop customized messaging. Understand and explain USI’s competitive differentiation to clients and prospects. Develop sales business plan and use effective prospecting strategies. Innovate for clients using market knowledge and technical insurance expertise. Participate in vertical meetings and video calls. Prepare for appointments, advance, close, and retain business. Utilize USI’s contact management and sales automation tools. Engage in industry training and sales support programs. Pursue cross-selling opportunities. Collaborate on significant account management services. Demonstrate knowledge of USI competitors. Represent USI professionally at events. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities 3+ years of sales experience in insurance brokerage with proven success. College degree preferred. Property & Casualty insurance license required. Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance. Personable, motivated, goal-oriented. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Organized with strong follow-up skills. Resourceful, positive, and consultative approach. Excellent listening skills and customer focus. Ability to engage with senior management and have executive presence. Why USI?
