As part of Versant, a new publicly traded company comprised of NBCUniversal cable networks and digital assets, the Communications team supports USA, SYFY, Oxygen, E!, Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes. The Coordinator reports to the VP, Entertainment Communications. Responsibilities

Perform administrative and department support tasks including phone coverage, calendar creation and dissemination of highlights/listings, reconciling invoices, coordinating screeners/mailings, filing creative briefs, maintaining editorial and awards calendars, creating tune-in alerts, coordinating high-profile internal and external executive meetings, updating press lists, booking travel and other assignments as required. Work with other coordinators to compile the daily clip packet, distribute press materials to key executives, monitor breaking news, and track social media coverage for network and series. Assist with booking talent travel, creating schedules and coordinating on-site coverage. Support organizing press junkets, print interviews, set visits, photo shoots, etc. Manage dissemination of photos, electronic clips and press releases. Assist in the creation of show press materials, programming releases and planning of special events. Develop positive relationships with press, talent and their representatives, producers, production staff and programming executives to maximize press coverage and minimize crises. Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications/Public Relations/Journalism Minimum 1 year of professional experience in communications or entertainment publicity Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to juggle a heavy workload and meet deadlines with shifting priorities Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills Excellent understanding of social media Superior organizational skills and high attention to detail Highly resourceful and a problem solver Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Available for minimal travel and weekend work Eligibility

Hybrid: expected to contribute from the office a minimum of three days per week, subject to change based on manager discussion or business need.
