A Coordinator of EL and LTEL programs fosters the educational experiences and social-emotional wellness of EL and LTEL students within an Academic MTSS. They design and oversee tailored programs, collaborate with educators, counselors, and community stakeholders to address academic gaps, and coordinate English Language Development (ELD) scheduling across CVUSD schools. The coordinator analyzes student data and coordinates efforts among staff and external partners to support EL and LTEL students. They engage EL/LTEL families by providing resources, guidance, and advocacy to navigate the education system, aiming to create an inclusive and supportive environment where migrant students can thrive academically and emotionally. Requirements / Qualifications
Master’s Degree required A valid California Administrative credential Minimum of four (4) years of experience as an EL, ELD, Migrant, or Dual Language Teacher including experience in curriculum development Recent experience in EL or LTEL staff development and in preparing District-level applications and reports Written and oral fluency in Spanish recommended Note: In-House candidates are not required to attach the 3 letters of recommendation Required Attachments: 1) Resume 2) Three letters of recommendation (within the last 6 months) 3) Letter of Interest/Introduction Additional Information
