Based in Bellingham, WA, the Show Producer will partner with the KCMS & KWPZ Professional Voice Talent to create faith-based shows tailored to the Vancouver, BC, Bellingham and Seattle, WA markets. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create on-air content for daily KWPZ morning show meetings and manage segment breaks. Collaborate with the Director of Programming and VP of Media on how to increase listener engagement through contests and other listener interaction. Proactively research and develop prep material for pre-recorded shows, tailored to the Vancouver market. Independently research media trends across various communication channels to enrich interviews with Christ-centered guests. Develop local-market relationships within the Vancouver market for the benefit of the KWPZ Morning Show. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development. Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. 2+ years’ experience working on-air, or in a production or related capacity, in a large or major market. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. 4+ years experience working on-air, or in a production or related capacity, in a large or major market. Passion for creating compelling radio. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
