Support the development of content for various communication channels to support client projects Work closely with team members, including communications team as well as technical staff (engineers, architects, environmental specialists) to implement communications tasks Support project teams at in-person and/or virtual open house/public meetings including site selection, logistics, and planning Research, write and edit project narratives and case studies Coordinate with the team and help with the development of graphics, visualizations, mailing lists, content, printing or mailing Develop project communications summaries and reports Bring genuine, creative ideas to the table Help develop, fine tune and follow established processes for client projects Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the communications field of expertise: content development, social media, event planning, community/public engagement, and communications planning Bachelor's degree in closely related field (or equivalent years of experience) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, self-motivated, process oriented, with the ability to manage tasks and work independently when needed High aptitude for managing and solving tactical issues – ability to be resourceful Comfortable and competent while working with senior leaders and managing cross-functional efforts Ability to work in a collaborative environment with multiple teams Experience in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented Ability to handle confidential information Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe
