We are seeking a
Residential Interior Designer
with a strong focus on
kitchen and bath cabinetry design . This person will translate client visions into innovative, practical, and beautiful interior spaces, working collaboratively from concept to completion. Role Overview As a
Cabinetry-Focused Interior Designer , you will take ownership of spatial planning, cabinetry layout, and the technical execution of residential remodels—primarily kitchens, bathrooms, and custom built-ins. You will blend creativity with technical expertise to ensure outstanding design solutions that are on-brand and client-focused. Key Responsibilities Lead the interior design and cabinetry layout process for residential remodeling projects (primarily kitchens & bathrooms). Conduct client consultations to understand project needs, budgets, and style preferences. Develop space plans, detailed cabinetry elevations, and millwork drawings Create high-quality 3D renderings and presentation decks. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, and trade professionals to execute design intent. Attend site visits to take measurements, verify progress, and resolve design-related field issues. Manage timelines and budgets related to design deliverables. Stay current with cabinetry trends, NKBA standards, ADA codes, and sustainable practices. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (in-person). Medical insurance (partially paid). Dental, Vision, AFLAC options. residential interior design
with a specialization in
kitchen and bath cabinetry . Proficiency in cabinetry layout software such as
Chief Architect, 20/20, Cabinet Vision, SketchUp, or AutoCAD . Deep knowledge of
spatial planning, color theory, cabinetry construction , and millwork detailing. Experience with construction documentation and coordination with contractors. Strong communication and client presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Experience NKBA certification or working knowledge of NKBA guidelines. Experience with
luxury residential remodels
or high-end design-build firms. Familiarity with
Chief Architect . Understanding of
ADA codes ,
building codes , and
permit processes
for residential interiors.
