Afully integrated architecture and interior design practice with offices in Austin and Houstonis seeking a talented
Interior Designer
to join their Austin team. The firm’s work is rooted in hospitality and placemaking, spanning a diverse range of projects including mixed-use developments, adaptive reuse, public realm design, architectural branding, single-family homes, hotels, restaurants, workspaces, and custom furniture design. Projects are located throughout Texas and in major cities across the U.S. Position Overview
This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week working in-person from the firm’s centrally located Austin office. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, hospitality, and residential design and will contribute to a wide range of project types and phases. Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to design across various scales, typologies, and phases. Collaborate on project design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Design and coordinate custom furniture, millwork, and lighting. Create mood boards and assist in FF&E selection, specification, and procurement. Coordinate with consultants and participate in multiple concurrent projects. Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in commercial or residential design (hospitality experience is a plus). Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited university. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit/BIM, and Excel. Ability to commute to the Austin office at least three days per week. Strong knowledge of architectural practices, building materials, codes, and construction technologies. Familiarity with finishes, fixtures, furnishings, art, and décor. Demonstrated design skills and technical proficiency. Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects across different scales & phases. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
