We are looking for a dedicated Intake Coordinator IPF PRN like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary and Qualifications

You will, in conjunction with the Program Director, coordinate the pre-admission assessment process and provide clinical assessments for potential patients. You will also assist with community education with clinical issues and participate with community events such as health fairs. You will understand and be able to train on all the state and federal standards regarding behavioral health assessment, petition, medical screening and patient rights

You will assess and reassess needs of patients, provide on and off site clinical assessments for potential patients to the program, work collaboratively with hospital departments to assist managing behavioral health assessment needs, and provide ongoing education to patients and families as needed

You will provide resources and support for patients before, during and after treatment, coordinate and participate with appropriate interested parties and physicians through the patient referral inquiry, admission, treatment and discharge process; model and train other behavioral health team members on managing and tracking inquiry calls; and track/ report on all key indicators related to calls, assessment, admissions

What qualifications you will need: RN Diploma, or Associates degree in nursing or in a related mental health field

Prefer 1-3 years’ experience in a behavioral healthcare setting performing clinical assessments or in a clinical treatment setting

License as a Registered Nurse in Nevada or a LCSW or a LFT or a LPC or a Mental Health Counselor Intern or a LMSW or a Clinical Social Worker

Current BCLS certification required

CPI certification within 30 days of hire
