Orchestrating dynamic, responsive reading workshops that strengthen core skills in phonics, comprehension, and fluency Creating custom motivational frameworks that energize students through gamified reading achievements Harnessing student performance data to optimize instruction and generate valuable insights Partnering with our technology team to test and refine AI literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes Creating adaptable content that customizes reading journeys for students with diverse learning profiles What you won’t be doing
Implementing inflexible, one-size-fits-all curricula that disregards individual student data Drowning in traditional lesson preparation, assessment grading, or administrative paperwork Struggling with oversized classes and inadequate teaching resources Spending your day on classroom management instead of focused literacy instruction Working in professional isolation without contributing to program innovation or product development Key responsibilities
Pioneer a scalable, technology-enhanced reading program that empowers early elementary students to achieve grade-level literacy proficiency while instilling a genuine passion for reading that lasts a lifetime. Basic requirements
Bachelor's degree plus specialized certification in reading instruction methodologies (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable approaches) Minimum 2 years of proven experience providing small-group reading interventions for early elementary learners Demonstrated ability to evaluate reading levels, create strategic student groupings, and develop differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-packaged curricula Comfort and competence with AI/adaptive learning platforms and ability to respond effectively to student engagement patterns Authorization to work legally in the United States without sponsorship Commitment to on-site work at one of our campus locations: Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Plano, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Spotswood, NJ; or Dorado, Puerto Rico About Alpha

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
