Senior Retail Media Manager Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a related field required. 5+ years of experience in digital and performance media, with 3+ years focused on retail media across leading Retail Media Networks. Responsibilities
Lead the planning, activation, and optimization of paid retail media campaigns across our portfolio of brands on major Retail Media Networks. Drive product visibility, conversion, and sales at top retailers through insight-led, high-performing media strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Brand, Shopper Marketing, Sales) and external partners (agencies, platform reps). Support cross-channel planning, trafficking, reporting, and billing as needed. Develop and lead full-funnel retail media strategies for launches, promotions, and evergreen campaigns. Own channel planning and media investment across RMNs, aligning spend to brand objectives and retailer priorities. Coordinate with Shopper Marketing to align retailer initiatives with paid media. Oversee day-to-day campaign execution across RMNs (e.g., Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart, Criteo). Manage campaign setup, pacing, optimizations, audience targeting, keyword strategy, budget allocation, and creative alignment. Coordinate media briefs, timelines, and delivery of creative assets. Track and analyze performance using KPIs such as ROAS, CTR, CVR, and incrementality; provide regular reporting and actionable insights. Monitor campaigns daily and implement data-driven optimizations. Serve as internal retail media subject matter expert and educate cross-functional teams. Partner with Brand team to ensure messaging and creative are aligned with strategy. Manage relationships with RMNs, platform partners, and external agencies. Support broader Paid Media team on non-retail initiatives including cross-channel planning, trafficking, reporting, and billing. Perform other duties as assigned in support of team and business objectives. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Expertise in Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart, and other retail media platforms. Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of digital KPIs, attribution models, and media effectiveness. Proficiency with retail media tools (Amazon Marketing Cloud, Pacvue, Skai, Flywheel, CitrusAd, Criteo). Excellent communication and project management skills. Experience in a cross-functional, matrixed environment. CPG, food & beverage, or retail experience; prior agency or in-house retail media experience required. Strong grasp of omnichannel media strategies and the digital shopper journey. Familiarity with broader paid media (search, social, video). Experience integrating retailer sales data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, Retail Link) with media performance metrics. Knowledge of trade marketing and retailer.com operations is a plus. Benefits & Perks
