Overview
Part-Time Marketing Position
Pay:
$18.00/hr
Location:
Sugar House Distillery – Salt Lake City, UT
Schedule:
2–3 full days per week (8am or 9am–5pm) or 4 half days per week (8am–12pm or 12pm–5pm), 16-24 hours a week.
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team in a
part-time, in-office
marketing role. This is not a remote position. You will be working directly with our team at the distillery.
Responsibilities
Manage and run our social media accounts
Create and distribute a monthly newsletter
Update and maintain our WordPress website
Coordinate with our designer on label creation
Assist with off-site events (daytime, evening, or occasional weekends)
Learn and communicate our grain-to-glass distilling process by giving tours and tastings, and assisting customers
Provide backup support with bottling or canning when needed
Order and manage promotional items
Qualifications
Working toward or completed a degree in Marketing (preferred)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
Photography for social media
Basic knowledge of WordPress (or willingness to learn quickly)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events
Interest in craft spirits and willingness to learn about distilling
Must be 21 years or older
