Reese's Book Club is seeking a book-loving, experienced Sr. Social Media Manager and Content Creator to support the digital content strategy and social calendar, growing engaged audiences across social, and driving them to interact with all facets of Reese's Book Club, including Bookmarked, the Reese's Book Club podcast, newsletter, and other distribution partnerships. The position will be responsible for the day-to-day creation of social content, inclusive of social-first video and graphic stills, coordination of social publishing, and leveraging assets from video, audio, and editorial content teams. Must be proficient in self-filming and appearing in content, as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have professional experience supporting content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other video-centric social platforms. You are a leader whore both creative and analytical with experience working cross-functionally.

This role is also responsible for developing branded content for licensing partners, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand's voice and aesthetic.

You play a crucial role in shaping and executing our social media strategy, managing content creation, coordinating photoshoots, and developing compelling marketing assets that resonate with our audience and partners.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment as he/she will be a critical contributor in refining, growing, and executing the social media presence and audience development for Reese's Book Club.

Key Responsibilities

Content Production & Post-Production

Self-film and appear in video content

Facilitate content ideation, planning, and execution for marketing campaigns and social media

Manage pre-production for photoshoots, including creative direction, mood boards, shot lists, talent coordination, and logistics

Ensure all assets align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives

Manage post-production including video editing and/or video editor management depending on the project

Develop and produce marketing assets and branded content for licensing partners, ensuring brand consistency

Social Media Management

Execute a multi-platform social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)

Plan and create engaging content (graphics, video, and copy) tailored to each platform

Help manage the social media content calendar, ensuring consistent posting and alignment with campaigns

Engage with the community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions

Stay updated on book club community trends, emerging platforms, and social media best practices

Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in social media management, content production, or a related field

Passionate about books and book clubs; subject matter expert immersed in book club culture

Strong creative direction skills, with experience managing video shoots and content creation

Proficiency with filming and editing for social platforms

Excellent copywriting and storytelling abilities tailored for digital audiences

Proficiency in social media analytics tools and content management platforms

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design/editing tools

Experience collaborating with brand partners, influencers, and creative teams

Strong project management and multitasking skills

Passion for digital trends, pop culture, and content innovation

The salary range for this role is $90,000-$120,000
