This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a trend-driven, high-volume environment and has a strong eye for design, styling, and garment construction—especially in a digital-first retail setting.
Role Overview
As an Associate Fashion Designer, you’ll be responsible for developing stylish, wearable collections from concept through execution. You’ll lead trend research, sketch and tech pack creation, sample management, and fittings—ensuring that all designs align with brand identity and are optimized for e-commerce appeal.
Key Responsibilities
Research and apply seasonal fashion trends Develop original hand/digital sketches, technical flats, and tech packs Lead development from concept to final sample Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and overseas vendors Participate in fittings; provide construction and fit feedback Assist in fabric, trim, and finish selection Occasionally create custom CADs or prints Manage incoming samples, specs, and fit notes Oversee technical aspects like specs and construction details Ensure product aligns with brand vision and e-commerce strategy Maintain consistency while driving innovation in silhouette, detail, and design
Qualifications
2+ years of fashion design experience, ideally in e-commerce Degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or equivalent experience Strong Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office skills CAD and PLM system experience a plus Deep understanding of garment construction and fabric properties Ability to juggle multiple design projects under tight timelines Excellent collaboration and communication skills Detail-oriented with a strong aesthetic sensibility Adaptable and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment
