WHAT YOU’LL DO

The ideal Data & Technology Partner Relations Manager candidate enjoys driving partnerships toward greater collaboration and productivity, with data, measurement, and technology partners across key verticals and channels including Retail, CPG, Health & Wellness TV, Location, Attribution, and more. Top candidates understand competitive positions and opportunities, employ optimism and creativity in partner strategy and planning. This exciting new role will deepen our partnerships via performance assessment, planning and sensitivity analysis, tactical recommendations, ongoing relationship management (including QBRs), and more. The role will support the Data & Technology Partnerships team to structure, pursue, and negotiate partnerships. A consistent track record of success and detailed knowledge of advertising technology is strongly preferred. The role reports to the VP, Data Partnerships. THE DAY-TO-DAY

All duties will require cross-functional collaboration. Help evaluate and understand the advertising data and technology provider ecosystem to identify prospective partners, including segmentation and classification of Data, Measurement, & Technology prospective partners Create, solicit, coordinate, centralize, and prioritize RFIs by category or channel, in alignment with Viant’s data strategy Create a Deal Calendar to plan and track negotiation cycles Data analysis for partner comparison, business and partner planning, and product consideration (Advertiser Spending, # of Advertisers, Campaign volume, Seasonal trends, etc.) Aid and track specific negotiation planning Brainstorm creative ideas and new products or features which can distinguish Viant in the market or with the partner, i.e. Preferred Partnerships Assess and manage Partner health (e.g. QBRs, spending trends, etc.) Marketing alignment and updates (i.e. ensure updated materials, language, contacts, co-selling opportunities, etc.) Manage both broad and partner-specific external communication Internal collaboration and communication, including onboarding internal requests from departments across the organization, partnering with Product, Marketing, and others on roadmap execution GREAT TO HAVE

3+ years digital experience in business development, operations, or account management Clear, demonstrated track record of contributing results to cross-functional teams Experience working closely with data and technology partners from either an Agency Investment, Planning, Analytics and/or Ad Tech, Publisher/Platform Sales role Understanding of all aspects of Digital Media Ecosystem, Publisher ad tech stacks, Programmatic Activation, and cross-platform challenges and opportunities Technical intuition and acumen Ability to effectively manage multiple partner relationships and work across multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment Must work well in a team environment Above-average presentation and communication skills Willingness to travel, as needed Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

and more. $77,200 - $96,500 a year In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.
