smartdept. inc. is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our clients in-house marketing team. This is an onsite, full-time opportunity supporting a wide variety of marketing, communications, event, and internal projects for a leading manufacturer. What You’ll Do
Design marketing collateral, including flyers, presentations, spec sheets, comparison charts, and other custom literature
Create digital assets for email campaigns, social media, and web (using platforms like Constant Contact)
Support packaging design and visual content for trade shows and company events
Contribute to blog graphics and assist with layout/proofing tasks
Help maintain and evolve brand consistency and visual identity across all materials
Assist with sourcing and designing corporate apparel and swag items
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, partners, and vendors on creative projects
Juggle multiple assignments, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices
What You’ll Need Education & Experience
Associate’s degree or certificate in graphic design (Bachelor’s a plus)
2–5+ years of professional graphic design experience (in-house or agency preferred)
Portfolio showcasing a range of print and digital design work, including samples of email or campaign assets
Core Design Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong sense of layout, composition, and typography
Experience with branding and maintaining visual identity
Print design skills, including basic pre-press knowledge
Digital design experience—social media, web, and online assets
Familiarity with Office365 and Teams)
Bonus: Basic skills in illustration, motion graphics, or video editing
Bonus: Willingness to learn and leverage AI design tools
