Overview
This role will assist numerous facilities in the South Charlotte area to include: retail, Single family rentals, residential properties, industrial. Family-owned property investment company that develops, owns, and operates commercial and residential properties primarily in the Charlotte, NC-area is in search for a Mobile Construction Tradesman to assist with requests as needed.
The company focuses on key urban locations in Charlotte with the potential for mixed-use development. Responsibilities
Patch work Tile replacement Fence repair Painting of small spaces Roof patching Caulking exteriors of buildings Cutting doors Some demolition, etc. Support for larger tasks may include in-house labor and outside vendors; the individual must be confident to take on solo duties and jobs. Daily tasks are communicated through a Facility Manager work-order system created by property managers and tenant requests; candidate will need to become familiar with the system and keep daily logs of hours for payroll in the form of a mobile app or computer entry. Travel within the Charlotte Metro area using a company-provided vehicle. Qualifications
Experience in moderate construction work required (examples: patch work, tile replacement, fence repair, painting, roof patching, caulking exteriors, cutting doors, some demolition). Experience with the following tools: drills, Sawzall, jack hammer, levels, drywall knives, chop saw, RAM set gun, sledge hammer, tape measure, shop vac, laser level, working off ladders, pressure washer, leaf blower, drain snake, and other hand tools. Experience with operating rental equipment and/or company vehicles (work trucks, dump trucks, skid steer, mini excavator, dingo, concrete saw, trailers, boom lifts, scissor lifts). Must have a valid Driver's License. Benefits
