We are seeking a highly skilled and creative YouTube Video Editor with advanced editing abilities and a strong background in working with established creators. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of YouTube content strategy along with storytelling and audience engagement. Responsibilities: Edit long form YouTube videos to the highest standard. Create 3D animations and motion graphics. Collaborate closely with Producers, Writers, and on-camera talent. Maintain consistency across projects (branding, graphics, audio quality, pacing). Optimize edits for audience retention and CTR. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high quality videos under tight deadlines. Stay up to date on editing trends, YouTube algorithms, and viral video formats to keep content competitive. Requirements: 1-3 years of editing experience Proven track record editing for high end YouTubers (portfolio required). Extensive experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other related tools. Strong understanding of pacing, comedic timing, storytelling, and YouTube formatting. Ability to create eye catching thumbnails, transitions, and motion graphics. Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction while contributing creative input. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. TMZ is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-24.50 per hour. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
