We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to fill the role of
Human Resources Manager
to lead HR operations at a unionized production facility. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting site leadership, fostering a positive employee culture, and ensuring compliance across all HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
Advise and support plant leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
Ensure accurate maintenance of HRIS, timekeeping, and payroll-related systems.
Lead workplace safety initiatives and serve as a point of contact for risk and compliance matters.
Partner with union leadership to address grievances and uphold the collective bargaining agreement.
Supervise and support a small HR team.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Prior experience in a union environment required.
Knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
PHR certification is a plus.
Pay Transparency Statement In compliance with New Jersey law, we are providing the salary range for this position. The base salary range is
$100,000 to $120,000
annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
