Instructional Designer

role within our Learning & Development (L&D) team is ideal for a driven, adaptable professional with a passion for creating impactful learning experiences. You will be responsible for designing and developing engaging training programs that build employee skills, ensure compliance, and strengthen operational excellence within our fast-paced logistics brokerage business. We’re looking for someone with high energy, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, service-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and experience creating both digital and instructor-led training. As a key member of our L&D team, you will play a vital role in shaping talent readiness and equipping employees with the skills and knowledge that fuel our success. esponsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Create instructional materials, courses, and programs aligned with organizational objectives and logistics brokerage processes Develop e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and blended learning solutions Apply adult learning theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and performance-based approaches to content creation Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), business leaders, and L&D teammates to identify learning needs and translate them into effective training solutions Conduct training needs analyses to close performance gaps and support business growth Utilize Learning Management System (LMS) for course deployment, tracking, and reporting Leverage e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, or similar) and multimedia resources to produce interactive training Measure training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and data-driven evaluations Continuously refine and update training programs to ensure relevance, scalability, and impact on employee performance Qualifications,

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably in corporate learning Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design frameworks, and curriculum development Proficiency with e-learning authoring software, multimedia tools, and LMS platforms Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate training effectiveness Proficient in utilizing various technology platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance, with or without reasonable accommodation
