Weekend News Anchor/MMJ at WFRV-TV (Green Bay) — primary presenter and producer of weekend newscasts, delivering content for all platforms in a clear, engaging, and meaningful way. As a Multimedia Journalist, identify potential stories, collect, analyze, and present facts about newsworthy events with interviews, investigations or observations for all platforms. Responsibilities
Presents news stories and other content for all platforms. Produce weekend news programming. Occasionally fill in as producer of other programming. Ensure all news content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality. Write and deliver news stories clearly and concisely. Produce newscasts and communicate clear direction with team members. Assist in writing, copy editing, researching, and coordinating news programming and other content. Acts as a field reporter as assigned. Conduct interviews with news personnel and others. Respond to breaking news and other urgent newsroom situations as required. Participate in promotional activities including public appearances. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. Edit video clips as assigned. Write content for the website and other Digital Media platforms. Interact with viewers/users on social media sites. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Journalism or related field required. Employment Details
