Social Media Content Creator Job Type:
Part Time, Hourly Job Summary: As our Social Media Content Creator, you’ll be responsible for producing engaging, brand-aligned content across our social media platforms, with an emphasis on Instagram. You will help bring our The Salty Babe voice to life through photos, videos, Reels, Stories, and copy that connect with our audience and inspire them to shop. Key Responsibilities: Plan and create in collaboration with other team members daily/weekly content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms. Capture high-quality photos and videos of new arrivals, behind-the-scenes, styling tips, events, and customer features. Support the development of social media campaigns to promote product launches, sales, and events. Write engaging captions that align with brand voice. Monitor engagement (comments, DMs, tags) and interact with followers in a timely, friendly manner. Collaborate with the boutique team for styling, photoshoots, and creative direction. Stay up-to-date with fashion and social media trends, applying them in fresh, creative ways. Requirements: Experience in social media content creation (portfolio or samples required). Strong eye for fashion, styling, and aesthetics. Proficiency in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar editing apps. Excellent photography and video skills (phone content is okay as long as it’s high-quality). Knowledge of social media best practices, especially Instagram and TikTok. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong writing and communication skills. Passion for women’s fashion and boutique culture. Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus): Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Instagram Insights, Meta Business Suite, etc.). Previous experience in retail or fashion is a plus.
