Be the Customer Champion: Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team-based selling model. Educate customers on ordering platforms, provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies to help customers succeed. Drive Sales Success: Sell to customers, increase case growth, and acquire new business. Deliver impactful sales presentations and tailor your approach to individual customers. Manage time and territory effectively. Team-Based Selling: Collaborate with Specialists to pursue top penetration opportunities and new accounts. Work with marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery. Lead with Insight: Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence databases, directories, leads from existing clients, and participation in relevant organizations and events. Delivery Resolution: Manage deliveries according to the routing schedule; troubleshoot order issues (e.g., mis-picks, stock-outs, short shipments). Competitive Advantage: Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, competitors, prices and sales; share value-added insights with customers. Stay on the Move: Conduct regular check-ins and site visits to ensure customer satisfaction using your personal vehicle when needed. Supervision

No direct reports. Work Environment

Daily outside-the-office environment within the assigned territory, visiting customers in varying weather and temperatures. Minimum Qualifications

1+ year of sales experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record. Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals. Problem solving, organizational and negotiation skills. Team-oriented mindset to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus. Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs. Why Join US Foods?
