Youth For Christ USA Inc. The Resident Executive Support role is a 9-month developmental position designed for young adults (ages 18–25) who have completed high school and have some experience in administrative work. This residency provides a structured environment for residents to grow professionally, spiritually, and personally while supporting the administrative functions of an assigned executive. Residents will work closely with a Business Manager (supervisor) and a Mission Investment Manager (coach) who guide their learning and development throughout the program. Essential Functions
Assist in providing daily administrative and operational support to an assigned executive, including email, scheduling, and task management. Support calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, and travel logistics. Help prepare agendas, presentations, and meeting notes for board, team, or partner meetings. Practice professional communication skills through correspondence and documentation tasks. Assist in maintaining physical and digital filing systems. Support coordination of seasonal projects and events, including internal and donor-facing engagements. Participate in planning and preparing logistics for executive travel and event participation. Learn to manage office supplies, IT equipment, and vendor communication. Collaborate with departments to ensure executive preparedness and documentation accuracy. Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism. Assist with basic bookkeeping, HR documentation, and administrative support for risk management or compliance tasks. Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive organizational and personal information. Support operational documentation such as action plans, SOPs, and reports. Participate in audits, compliance checks, or National Standards reviews as needed. Develop time management, prioritization, and organizational skills through hands-on learning. Contribute to special projects and collaborative team tasks as assigned. Support the Business Office during high-demand or seasonal administrative projects. Be available for flexible hours including some evenings and occasional travel. Spiritual Responsibilities

Previous administrative experience and basic understanding of time management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Adobe). Understanding of or willingness to learn basic risk management and compliance practices. High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, take initiative, and manage time effectively. All YFC employees are expected to regularly and actively participate in faithful activities that advance the stewardship functions of YFC/USA. These activities will include—but are not limited to— extending invitations to fund raising events, recruiting personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts, sending letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally ministering to donor contacts. Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to prepare or inspect documents. Activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, occasionally move about inside the office to access files or office equipment, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, hand held devices, copy machine, and computer printer. No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force may be required. Good manual dexterity required for the use of computers, mobile devices, and other productivity technologies. The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
