Overview
The Home Depot Designer role supports three store priorities: Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. Designers provide fast, thorough, and friendly service to customers, welcome customers, assess kitchen and/or bath project needs, provide showroom tours, set up measurements, meet with customers to review designs, and make purchasing recommendations. Designers support stock initiatives by assessing stock levels of samples and brochures and restocking them as necessary. Designers support the Store Appearance priority by ensuring special order displays and showrooms promote a shopping environment that is appealing and safe. By supporting these priorities, Designers drive sales to support department and store goals. Responsibilities
Welcome customers to the store and assess their kitchen and/or bath project needs. Provide showroom tours and set up measurements for projects. Meet with customers to review room designs and make purchasing recommendations. Assess stock levels of samples and brochures and restock them as necessary. Maintain store appearance by ensuring special order displays and showrooms promote a welcoming, attractive, and safe shopping environment.
