This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing specialty agency. The Social Media Advertising Strategist (Internal Title: Account Strategist, LinkedIn Advertising) works directly with our mid-market and enterprise clients and runs point on communicating results, creating custom strategies, and executing Paid Media deliverables. You will gain experience creating high-performing LinkedIn strategies for B2B businesses.
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts
Serve as direct support to client contacts
Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, quality, and improvements
Build strategies for clients each quarter
Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
Maintain personal productivity and utilization
Collaborate with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships and network
Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI
What You Offer (Qualifications)
2+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clients
Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV and more
Proficiency with advertising platforms/tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6sense, and more
Strong understanding of paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization
Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms
Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
Ability to translate and articulate strategy with data storytelling
Problem-solving mindset; curiosity and a drive to grow
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Commitment to quality and integrity in advertising
Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year per client or as needed

Annual base salary range for this role in the United States: $70,000 - $80,000 USD with potential bonus; actual salary may vary based on experience and compensation practices
