Overview
Join RadNet as a CT Technologist to contribute to high-quality radiologic care and patient experience. You will work with a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align stakeholders to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
Monitor patient well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
Guide patients through the process by kindly explaining steps and answering questions regarding exam procedures.
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; be responsive to the needs of others.
Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
You Are
Genuinely passionate about patient care and able to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism in all situations.
Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.
To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
BLS certification depending on state regulations.
At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
