Role and Responsibilities The Lilly Dermatology Specialty Territory Managers will be responsible for account-based selling to health care providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence treatment for the disease states in the Lilly dermatology portfolio. This includes HCPs in dedicated dermatology practices, and representatives in key hospital accounts, including dermatologists, dermatology fellows, dermatology educators, chief internal medicine residents, chief family practice residents and residents involved in dermatology rotations. You will build relationships with key customers to increase Lilly\'s ability to drive adoption of our therapies. You will identify and develop business relationships with state and local advocacy groups, teaching institutions, key influencers, and managed care organizations. You will be viewed as a credible expert and resource.
Responsibilities
Territory Management: Develops a strong understanding of the territory and reimbursement landscape and uses business insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs.
Account Management: Navigate the healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
Selling Skills / Customer Experience: Engage in patient-centered dialogue and promote the entire product portfolio; utilize the selling model to help identify appropriate patients.
Medical Integrity: Demonstrate learning agility to understand clinical information, the product portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace; engage with office accounts.
Execution / Results: Use business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals in compliance with internal policies and the PhRMA code; collaborate with team members to deliver a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide sponsorship for work authorization or visas.
Additional Skills / Preferences
Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after completing a degree.
Other relevant work experience or graduate degrees (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD).
Account-based selling experience and the ability to engage staff at accounts.
Experience navigating complex integrated health systems and understanding specialty pharmacy distribution models.
Experience selling injectables/infusions in a complex reimbursement environment.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and demonstrate learning agility, motivation, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and influence.
Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
Compensation and Benefits Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $87,000 - $204,600. Full-time employees are eligible for a company bonus (dependent on company and individual performance). Lilly offers a comprehensive benefits program including a 401(k), pension, vacation, medical/dental/vision and prescription drug benefits, flexible benefits, life insurance, time off, leave programs, and well-being benefits.
