About the Senior Associate for Strategic Communications Manhattan Strategies is seeking a Senior Associate for Strategic Communications. This is a full-time, on-site role. The best-fit candidate is a highly motivated public relations and social media strategist, who is skilled in assisting on multiple projects at one time while working with a fast-paced team of designers and communicators. Your ability to collaborate on projects and apply a unique perspective results in a consistent and unparalleled quality outcome. Responsibilities: Client Engagement:

Spearhead key client accounts and provide excellent client services. Communications Strategy:

Drive strategic thinking and campaign deployment with emphasis on digital communications. Content Creation:

Lead team in drafting press releases, blog posts, social media content, and email campaigns. Media Relations:

Build and maintain media lists, monitor press coverage, draft media briefs, and assist with outreach to journalists and influencers. Research and Analysis:

Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and target audiences to inform campaigns and strategies. Project Support:

Collaborate with team members on marketing and communication projects, ensuring deadlines are met. Social Media Management:

Schedule posts, engage with audiences, and track performance across various platforms. Monitoring and Reporting:

Track campaign performance and provide regular updates and insights using analytics tools. Qualifications: 3-5 years of strategic communications/public relations experience Background in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field; agency or consultancy experience strongly preferred Demonstrated success supporting and managing client accounts, including coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders Strong writing portfolio showcasing ability to craft compelling narratives, thought leadership, and media-facing materials Skilled at balancing client priorities with strategic counsel and communicating communications value to non-communications stakeholders Proficiency in communications tools (media monitoring platforms, social publishing tools, analytics dashboards, etc.) and awareness of emerging digital and AI-driven platforms Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field required; Master’s degree a plus Benefits & Compensation: Base salary range is $75,000 to $87,000 per year Benefits include bonus eligibility and 401(k) with company match Unlimited PTO Paid family leave Healthcare and dental insurance Manhattan Strategies is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
