Videographer / Photographer — State of South Carolina Responsibilities
As a member of the University’s visual storytelling team, serve as videographer and lead photographer, responsible for capturing compelling visual assets that highlight the vibrancy of Lander University’s community, events, academics and campus life. Engage with a wide range of audiences — students, faculty and staff, administrators, legislators and the community — and work with a collaborative team of designers, writers and digital media professionals to conceptualize, plan and produce engaging photo and video content across multiple platforms. Minimum And Additional Requirements
Bachelor''s degree in photography, videography, film production, multimedia journalism, communications or related field. 5+ years of experience in professional photography and/or videography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both skills. A valid driver''s license and safe driving history. Strong customer service skills and strong professional ethics. Additional Comments
Expert level proficiency with cinema cameras, DSLR / mirrorless cameras, GoPros, and lighting/audio equipment. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.). Experience producing photography/videography content for social media, with familiarity with social media trends and platforms. Familiarity with DAM platforms, such as Photoshelter. Drone experience and FAA certification is a plus. Seniority level
