Overview
A fast-growing biopharmaceutical company pioneering next-generation bispecific antibody therapeutics is seeking a Director of Pharmacology to lead preclinical pharmacology and translational strategy across its immuno-oncology pipeline. This position will play a critical role in driving biologic programs from discovery through IND, shaping the scientific vision and ensuring the successful transition of novel immune-modulating assets into the clinic. Responsibilities
Lead design and execution of in vivo pharmacology studies supporting bispecific and immune-engager programs. Integrate PK/PD, efficacy, and biomarker data to optimize candidate selection and dose strategy. Guide translational approaches linking preclinical findings to clinical development. Oversee CRO management, study design, and data interpretation. Collaborate cross-functionally with discovery, bioanalytical, and clinical teams to advance IND-enabling activities. Mentor scientists and contribute to regulatory documentation and scientific publications. Qualifications
Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Immunology, Oncology, or related field with 8+ years’ experience in biotech or pharma. Proven expertise in immuno-oncology and bispecific antibody development. Hands-on experience with in vivo models, PK/PD analysis, and IND-enabling studies. Track record of advancing biologic programs toward clinical entry.
