Responsible for observing, documenting, and ensuring the safety of the child during this interaction. This allows the parent and child to experience an enjoyable and safe, stress-free visit. Offers supervised exchanges and supervised visitation. Children have the right to have a relationship with both parents regardless of the issues presenting between the adults. Partners with DCYF to provide placement for children who are currently in CPS custody, and also works with families in removing barriers to reunite children with families. Through a network of Family Resource Centers and evidence-based programs and services, they work collectively to promote and strengthen protective factors to prevent and mediate childhood trauma.
