We provide innovative and compassionate services to individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. We are looking for dedicated, caring, and compassionate people to work in our Residential/Outpatient Treatment Facilities and Community Programs. CADC/LCADC Counselor Schedule per week: Monday - Friday (8:30am -4:30pm) (2 Late Nights to be determined 10:00am-6:00pm or 11:00am-7:00pm) Location: Paterson, NJ Sign on bonus of $3000 (Full Time Only) (New Employees Only) Job Summary: The Credentialed Counselor is an integral part of the treatment team, providing individual, group, family, and didactic sessions, as well as case management services to clients, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Provide individual, group, and family counseling; didactics; treatment planning; and case management as required per licensing standards (residential or ambulatory according to the program) for a caseload of clients. Formulate measurable individualized Treatment Plans and Treatment Plan Reviews for each client. Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with DMHAS and CARF guidelines, ensuring all records are current. Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and present Treatment Plans or Reviews. Participate in supervision sessions with the Clinical Supervisor. Provide clients with referrals to other agencies for continued care. Offer crisis intervention as necessary. Submit daily documentation of sessions held. Participate in CQI subcommittee and Grievance Committee meetings. Prepare monthly reports for overseeing agencies and referral sources. Maintain certification through ongoing continuing education. Encourage participation in AA/NA/GA activities. Follow all Electronic Health Records (EHR) policies. Qualifications: BA/BS or MA/MSW degree with a CADC or LCADC certification. 1-3 years’ experience in addiction or mental health fields. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills. Familiarity with NJSAMS, ASAM, and LOCI. Experience facilitating individual and group sessions, familiar with Drug Court policies. Proficient with computers. Experience in fee-for-service environments is a plus.
