Job Title: Immigration Law Attorney

Salary Range: $85,000 – $115,000 (commensurate with experience)

Role Overview
As an Immigration Law Associate, you will play a critical role in representing clients in various immigration proceedings, handling complex cases, and advocating for individuals seeking legal status in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in deportation/removal proceedings before EOIR, including appearing at master calendar and merits hearings.
Attend adjustment of status and naturalization interviews before USCIS.
Prepare and submit waiver applications (e.g., I-601A, I-212, Stay of Removal).
Handle appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and federal circuit courts, including drafting persuasive legal briefs.
Manage asylum and cancellation of removal cases, ensuring strong evidentiary support for EOIR submissions.
Prepare and file U and T visa applications for victims of crime and trafficking.
Draft and litigate motions (e.g., Motions to Reopen, Motions to Continue, Motions to Change Venue) in immigration court.
Assist clients with DACA renewals and new applications.
File Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) and VAWA petitions for vulnerable clients.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admission to the New Jersey Bar (required)
Fluency in Spanish and English (required)
