MD7, a global leader in digital infrastructure solutions, seeks a strategic-minded Real Estate Counsel to play a pivotal role in our continued expansion. Corporate Counsel – Real Estate & Commercial Transactions

is a legal professional who specializes in property law, representing clients in matters involving the purchase, sale, leasing, and development of real estate. They review and draft contracts, negotiate agreements, resolve title and zoning issues, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Real Estate Attorneys provide guidance on property disputes, landlord-tenant matters, financing, and land use planning, protecting their clients’ interests throughout each transaction. They should have strong negotiation, analytical, and litigation skills, and act as trusted advisors to individuals, investors, developers, and businesses to ensure smooth and legally sound real estate transactions. Job summary

This in-house attorney will be a key driver of our real estate operations, as well as general corporate matters. Responsibilities

70% - Lease Negotiations and Buyouts:

Lead negotiations for new leases, lease amendments, and lease buyouts. Perform comprehensive due diligence on real estate assets, including title searches and lease analysis. 20% - Commercial Contracts:

Draft and review commercial services agreements and other business contracts. 5% - General Advice:

Provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of topics, including employment and corporate governance. 5% - Problem Solving:

Craft innovative and practical solutions to various business challenges and opportunities, and drive them from concept to successful implementation. Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and related legal documents. Conduct due diligence for property acquisitions, sales, and lease transactions. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external counsel to facilitate real estate deals. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and other business arrangements, ensuring terms align with company objectives and mitigate legal risk. Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, or negotiations. Provide support to the internal and external legal teams. Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Track record of exceeding expectations. Strong knowledge of property law and contracts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills

Strong negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Licenses or Certifications
