JOB TITLE: Litigation Associate/Attorney
LOCATION: Staten Island, NY
A direct-hire and executive search firm partnered with a very respectable law firm located in Staten Island, NY. They have a need for a Litigation Associate/Attorney to join their growing team! They are willing to train the right candidate. This candidate should have the ability to work proactively and independently; but the firm offers a collaborative work environment.
The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills. Experience drafting and arguing motions and taking and defending depositions preferred. This firm is dedicated to providing the highest quality legal representation for each client. This firm prides itself on being responsive and available to clients and resolving the clients’ legal issues efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
Must have New York Bar (candidate’s pending admission will be considered)
Experience with Word, Excel, GoogleDocs, DropBox, Westlaw/Lexis (Time Matters a Plus).
Valid Driver’s license is required
Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationship
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
