Conducting high quality, programmatic research. Seeking external research funding. Teaching undergraduate courses to support the undergraduate psychology curriculum at ODU. Teaching graduate courses in the Psychology Department. Mentoring Ph.D. students. Qualifications
Minimum required education and/or licenses Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field. Candidates who provide evidence that their Ph.D. will be conferred by July 25, 2026 will be considered for the position. Minimum required experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities They must demonstrate strong potential for developing an independent, funded research program and show accomplishments in and/or potential for quality teaching and mentoring at the graduate and undergraduate level. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with a research program that complements and expands that of current faculty within the Department of Psychology.
