Overview
Hotstart is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Regional Sales Manager who excels at building new businesses and turning challenges into opportunities. The ideal candidate is results-driven, possesses a strong work ethic, and thrives even in the face of rejection. This role focuses on driving sales of Heat Pumps for Gensets in the Western Region, with a primarily remote work environment and occasional visits to the Spokane headquarters. Frequent travel to meet clients and attend sales events is required. Role Scope
Own the territory and relentlessly pursue new business across WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CA, NV, CO, AZ, and NM. Leverage your network, build new relationships, and drive aggressive sales of our HP product lines. Hunt opportunities, engage decision-makers, and exceed ambitious targets. Through virtual and in-person meetings, close deals, grow market share, and forge lasting partnerships. Primary Responsibilities
Identify, target, and engage key decision-makers to win high-value accounts and crush revenue goals Leverage deep knowledge of Hotstart and competitor products to position solutions that deliver measurable customer value Plan and execute strategic travel, client visits, and events to uncover opportunities and close deals Collaborate with internal teams to accelerate opportunities, share insights, and maximize impact Turn customer challenges into opportunities to strengthen trust and secure long-term partnerships Continuously sharpen sales tactics, product expertise, and market knowledge to stay ahead of the competition Consistently communicate all business opportunities with the internal team to gain other perspectives Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and collaborative manner Demonstrate initiative to improve professional skills and department processes for future growth opportunities at Hotstart Meet all commitments and other duties as assigned Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 7 to 10 years of results-driven sales experience in industrial energy Demonstrated success selling to customers who own or operate backup generator fleets, with deep understanding of their needs and buying processes Experience in Data Center industry is a strong plus Track record of hunting new business, closing high-value deals, and consistently exceeding sales targets Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at all levels Accommodations available for disabled individuals to foster success in essential functions.
