The duties and responsibilities of the Sr. Formulation Scientist will include the following:
Lead formulation development efforts for new agricultural products, including biological and chemical active ingredients such as micro-organisms, proteins, peptides, plant extracts, viruses, natural derived, or synthetic chemicals.
Collaborate with clients to ensure alignment between formulation development, regulatory requirements, and commercial objectives.
Design and optimize formulation compositions to improve product performance, stability, and efficacy.
Conduct laboratory experiments and tests to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of formulations.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in agricultural formulations, and contribute to innovative ideas and approaches.
Follow established protocols and SOPs to ensure safe and efficient laboratory practices.
Record, document, analyze, and report experimental data accurately.
Communicate results and progress effectively with team members and clients through presentations and discussions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.

Technical Qualifications: PhD or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in agricultural formulation development, preferably in research or industry. Proven success in developing and commercializing innovative agricultural products. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for agricultural formulations. Strong curiosity, hands-on experimentation skills, and a passion for biological and chemical formulations. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and willingness to take risks. Enthusiasm for contributing to a growing startup environment.
