00871745## LocationNew York, New York## ## Shift:Day (United States of America)## ## Description:**Associate Transplant Coordinator - Kidney Acquisition - Weill Cornell Medical Center**Associate Transplant Coordinator partners with Transplant Coordinators (RN) and other clinical staff to facilitate comprehensive care and treatment specific to transplant patients and donors. Utilizes thorough knowledge of both transplant donor and recipient treatment plans to guide patients in all administrative components associated with the Transplant process. Position includes direct contact and communication with patient, in person, on telephone or via e-mail and contact with donor/organ procurement organizations.This position is located at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. The hours are from 9am to 5pm.**Preferred Criteria:*** Bachelor's Degree* EPIC knowledge* Transplant work experience**Required Criteria:*** High School Diploma or GED* Knowledge in Medical Terminology* Administrative experience in a clinic setting* Knowledge of third party insurances, government programs and other insurance agencies for purposes of obtaining any necessary authorizations for treatmentJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
