Overview
Assistant Professor of Audiology (College of Health Professions) – Grand Rapids, MI (Health Campus). Full-time, tenure-track faculty in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders to support the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program. Responsibilities
Teach in the Doctor of Audiology program and undergraduate pre-professional academic program. Provide clinical supervision in on-campus clinic. Develop a scholarly agenda consistent with unit and college expectations. Advise/mentor students. Provide service to the department, college, university, community, and the profession. Required Qualifications and Education
Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in audiology or a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.); all-but-dissertation (ABD) candidates considered. Area of expertise is flexible; ASHA certification in Audiology. Evidence of effective teaching. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated record and/or potential for active scholarship. Commitment to inclusion, equity, and diversity. Preferred Qualifications
Medical audiology and/or vestibular and balance background. Salary
$102,000 and commensurate with experience. Department/Division
